Revel Travel Partners with Kappa FuturFestival to Bring Italy’s Premier Electronic Music Experience to Indian Travellers

Attending premier international music festivals has traditionally been a complex undertaking for Indian travellers, requiring navigation of visa appointments, flights, accommodation, ticket purchases and unfamiliar destinations. However, the landscape is shifting rapidly as Indian audiences increasingly pursue global travel experiences. Recognising this growing appetite, Revel Travel has become an official travel partner of Italy’s celebrated Kappa FuturFestival, scheduled for July 3 to 5, 2026 in Turin. Held at Parco Dora—an iconic industrial venue transformed into Europe’s leading electronic music destination—Kappa FuturFestival attracts over 120,000 attendees from 150 countries annually. The festival has established itself as a premier gathering for international techno and house music enthusiasts, featuring more than 130 DJs across six stages. Festival tourism has emerged as a defining trend in international travel. A new generation of travellers now plans itineraries around concerts, sporting events and cultural experiences rather than traditional sightseeing. Experience-led travel has created opportunities for platforms like Revel Travel to simplify access to global events and remove logistical barriers that deter Indians from taking that crucial first international festival trip. As an official travel partner, Revel Travel provides Indian travellers with curated Kappa FuturFestival packages that bundle accommodation, festival passes and transfers—eliminating the complexity of coordinating these elements separately. Travellers can focus entirely on the experience rather than logistics. Speaking about the partnership, Sahil Wahid, Director at Revel Travel, said: “Kappa FuturFestival is an extraordinary cultural moment. We’ve witnessed growing appetite among Indian travellers for experiences that transcend typical holidays. Music festivals today merge culture, travel and community. This partnership exists to remove barriers and make it possible for Indians to immerse themselves fully in these transformative experiences.” As international festivals increasingly function as cultural destinations, the question is no longer whether Indians want to attend—it’s how to make the journey seamless. Partnerships like this one are making that future attainable.

Shangri-La Eros New Delhi Celebrates the Dragon Boat Festival at Shang Palace

Featuring Chinese delicacies and a vibrant lion dance performance Shangri-La Eros New Delhi brings the rich traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival to the capital with a special three-day celebration at Shang Palace, its award-winning restaurant renowned for authentic Cantonese cuisine and a distinctive selection of regional Chinese specialties. From 19th to 21st June 2026, guests can discover one of China’s most celebrated cultural occasions through a thoughtfully curated menu that reflects the flavours, customs, and festive dining traditions at the heart of the festival. Observed on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar, the Dragon Boat Festival is one of China’s oldest and most deeply held celebrations. It is a grand folk festival that integrates worshipping gods and ancestors, praying for blessings and warding off evil, celebration and entertainment, The menu assembled for the occasion at Shang Palace reflects that directly. The opening courses set the tone with a Seafood Crab Meat and Avocado Salad with Micro Greens and a Double-Boiled Organic Black Chicken Soup with Chinese Herbs; the latter a preparation that speaks to the patient, restorative qualities that run through some of the most treasured traditions of Chinese cooking. The dim sum and appetizer selection is anchored by Zongzi, glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves and offered with chicken, pork, and vegetarian fillings; the dish most closely associated with the festival itself. Crispy Orange Chicken and a Sichuan-Style Pan-Fried Mock Meat Dumpling complete the opening with contrasting textures and a broader sense of the menu’s range. A Six-Hour Braised Duck with Tea Egg is among the menu’s most considered preparations; slow-cooked, layered in flavour, and designed for the communal style of dining that sits at the heart of the festival. The Stir-Fry Chicken with Black Vinegar and Caramelized Walnut takes a brighter approach, balancing acidity and sweetness with precision. The vegetarian mains; Kung Pao King Oyster Mushroom and Stir-Fry Lotus Root with Asparagus, Morel Mushroom, and Macadamia Nuts; are prepared with equal attention and stand confidently alongside the rest of the menu. Rice and noodle dishes conclude the savoury courses with a Shrimp and Scallop Fried Rice and a Wok-Fried E-Fu Noodle with Mock Meat; familiar in form yet thoughtful in execution. The Desserts Sampler Platter brings the experience to a close with Crispy Fried Almond Darsan, Strawberry Pistachio Moon Cake, and Five Spices Ice Cream; a trio that draws inspiration from the diversity of Chinese festive sweets while offering a balanced and memorable finish. Beyond the menu, the celebration extends into the cultural traditions that have long defined the Dragon Boat Festival. Shang Palace will host a traditional lion dance performance, offering guests an opportunity to experience one of the festival’s most vibrant and recognizable customs. With its rhythmic movements, symbolic significance, and festive energy, the performance brings the spirit of the celebration from its Chinese roots to the heart of New Delhi, adding another dimension to an experience that goes beyond dining alone. The specially curated à la carte menu will be available exclusively from 19th to 21st June 2026 during lunch from 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm and dinner from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm, inviting guests to experience a celebration where food, culture, and tradition come together around the table.   Instagram Handle: @shangrilanewdelhi Facebook: @ShangrilaNewDelhi Hashtags: #ShangriLaNewDelhi #Shangpalace  Website: www.shangri-la.com/newdelhi/erosshangrila/

The Piano Man

The Piano Man was conceived with a singular purpose: to build a dedicated space for art and artists, and to foster a thriving community around non-commercial western music sub-genres in India. At its core, the brand is a celebration of music, architecture, and cultural exchange, spaces where sound meets storytelling, and performance is elevated to an immersive experience. Over the last decade, The Piano Man has evolved from a passionate jazz initiative into a cultural movement, with three distinct venues across Delhi NCR, each one designed to be an artist-first performance space that champions creativity, discipline, and meaningful engagement. The Piano Man is the brainchild of Arjun Sagar Gupta, an engineer by education, entrepreneur by spirit, and trained jazz pianist with a deep-rooted passion for live music and hospitality. With a vision to create an artist-first ecosystem in India, Arjun blended his love for music and food to build a space where performances take center stage and guests experience culture through sound, flavor, and community. The journey began in 2015 with The Piano Man Jazz Club in Safdarjung Enclave, an intimate 40-seater reminiscent of a 1920s New York speakeasy. With vintage interiors, wooden floors, exposed brickwork, and a handcrafted bar, it set the tone for what would become one of the most artistically revered venues in the country. In Gurugram, The Piano Man created another landmark space atop 32nd Avenue. With baroque interiors, an award-winning design, and a 120-year-old Bechstein Grand Piano as its centrepiece, the venue pays homage to jazz legends with their names engraved across the space, a tribute to timeless artistry. Most recently, the brand opened its largest venue yet, The Piano Man New Delhi at Eldeco Center, Malivya Nagar, New Delhi, a 300-seater cultural destination in the heart of the city. Featuring gothic-inspired architecture, signature trumpet chandeliers, two balconies, and cutting-edge acoustics and visual technology, the venue combines scale with intimacy and grandeur with warmth. Over the years, The Piano Man has hosted over 7,000 live shows and welcomed more than 500,000 guests across its venues. With a commitment to curating meaningful musical experiences, the brand has featured over 500 international artists, including multiple Grammy Award winners, alongside India’s finest musical talent. More than 14,000 hours of live music have been performed on its stages, including over 15,000 minutes dedicated to the iconic “Silent Song”, a signature moment where the venue pauses service to allow the audience to engage with the performance in complete stillness. These numbers are a testament to The Piano Man’s unwavering dedication to elevating live music and building an artist-first cultural movement in India. Each performance is carefully curated, part of a broader cultural mandate to transform how Delhi consumes and interacts with live music. What began as an effort to create a niche space for jazz lovers has since sparked a ripple effect, inspiring hundreds of venues across the country to feature live jazz, and encouraging a new generation of Indian musicians to explore and master the genre. At the heart of The Piano Man’s philosophy is a deep respect for the artist. The brand has consistently challenged industry norms by placing artist comfort, fair compensation, and performance integrity above commercial gain. This commitment is also reflected in its behind-the-scenes efforts, from artist-friendly infrastructure and hospitality, to educating in-house teams about artistic priorities, ensuring that respect for music remains a lived value across all touchpoints. The Piano Man is more than a venue, it is a cultural ecosystem. Through consistent exposure, meticulous curation, and support for education, the brand has helped create a microculture in Delhi around live music, one that is slowly influencing the city’s larger cultural identity. The impact is tangible: listeners who once came out of curiosity now return as connoisseurs; music education in the city has seen a parallel growth; and a vibrant new community of musicians and audiences continues to flourish. With an increasingly global lineup of artists and programming that spans jazz, folk, classical, fusion, and more, The Piano Man is shaping not just how we listen to music, but how we understand its power to build communities, inspire change, and make space for a richer, more musical future. The restaurant concept is driven by the principles of Eurasian cuisine which is a thoughtful interplay between European and Asian flavours. Eurasian, in this context, is not merely a fusion, but a balancing act: a dialogue between traditions, where neither side overwhelms the other. The nuanced hybridity is a thread that runs across the entire menu with dishes such as Thai Curry Ravioli, Crispy Chilli Pumpkin, Grilled Jerk Chicken, etc. The ingredients are carefully sourced; often imported European elements paired with bold, local Asian components to create a menu that is both refined and adventurous. Some dishes, like the Korean Chili Chicken, Smoked Aubergine & Burrata Kulcha reinterpret familiar formats through a new lens, departing from their expected regional profiles. With the launch of the Malviya Nagar venue, the brand has further expanded its food narrative to include a curated Indian offering both traditional and modern with cuisines such as Rajma Galouti Kebab, Mutton Galouti Kebab, etc. While earlier menus intentionally steered away from Indian cuisine, the need to engage a broader audience has led to a considered addition of Indian dishes across all three locations. The Indian menu, much like the music, remains rooted in authenticity while leaving room for reinterpretation.

The Kaçkars continue to shine on the global stage through prestigious international events they host with this unparalleled richness. Following the successful launch of the esteemed KAÇKAR BY UTMB mountain ultramarathon last year, the International Kaçkar Tourism Fair is now set to take place in Rize from April 17–18, 2026. Organised with the support of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), the International Kaçkar Tourism Fair aims to transform the Kaçkar Mountains and the Black Sea region’s unique natural beauty and rich cultural heritage into global centres of attraction. As the region’s most prestigious tourism event, the fair will go beyond a traditional exhibition through panels, conferences, and workshops where participants explore emerging tourism trends and build new collaborations. This year, the fair will gather more than 1,000 industry representatives and over 3,000 visitors at the Rize Tea Bazaar. Black Sea Wonderland: Where Nature, Culture, and History Meet Offering a diverse range of experiences across all four seasons, the Kaçkar Mountains stand out with peerless routes for nature and adventure enthusiasts, deep-rooted history, and a rich gastronomic culture. The region is also one of Türkiye’s most pristine natural areas, home to over 50 alpine lakes, deep valleys, lush forests reflecting every shade of green, and rushing streams shaped by diverse ecosystems.    Rising to 3,937 metres, Kaçkar Mountain, the highest peak of the range, dominates this dramatic landscape and enhances the region’s appeal for trekking, mountaineering, and nature exploration. Visitors can hike along scenic trails, cycle through winding valleys, observe rare wildlife, and capture breathtaking photographs. During winter, when snow blankets the majestic mountains, the Kaçkars become a premier destination for snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, and heliskiing. Beyond its virgin nature, the Kaçkars offer a seamless blend of experiences, from cultural immersion to sustainable tourism. Visitors can stay in eco-friendly accommodations, witness authentic local lifestyles, and explore numerous historic monuments. The local communities of these highlands provide profound insight into the region’s heritage. Their preserved languages and traditional handicrafts, alongside the sounds of the tulum (bagpipe) and the rhythmic horon dance, captivate travellers seeking genuine local experiences. From vibrant highland festivals to tea harvest celebrations, guests can also fully immerse themselves in the region’s spirited traditions. The Kaçkar highlands also stand out as a premier wellness destination, where pristine nature and crisp mountain air create an ideal environment for rest and renewal. The fact that the Turkish leg of the UTMB World Series and International Kaçkar Tourism Fair are hosted here is a testament to this rise.
