Shangri-La Eros New Delhi Presents Presents an Authentic Bangla Bhoj By Home Chef Sharmila Sinha

From 17th to 19th September, Tamra will present “An Authentic Bangla Bhoj” by Home Chef Sharmila Sinha, celebrating Bengal’s rich culinary traditions through authentic home-style recipes, regional specialities and lesser-known flavours.

Shangri-La Eros Bengali Favourites and Regional Specialities

The three-day showcase will feature Bengali favourites such as Luchee, Kosha Mangsho and Chingri Malai Curry, alongside lesser-known preparations including Poi Saag with Prawns, Pabda Jhaal, Kakrol Dolma and Lau Pataye Maacher Paturi. Each day will feature a different menu, including traditional appetisers, mains, live counters and Bengali desserts.

Chef Sharmila’s Traditional Culinary Repertoire

Chef Sharmila’s repertoire also includes traditional Bata and Makha preparations and seasonal chutneys made with ingredients such as star fruit and hog plum. With over a decade of experience creating culinary experiences, her approach is rooted in seasonality, sustainability and preserving regional food traditions. She is also an environmental educator with over two decades of experience.
