Conrad Bengaluru Appoints Balu John Maris as Learning & Development Manager

Conrad Bengaluru is pleased to announce the appointment of Balu John Maris as its new Learning & Development Manager, further strengthening the brand’s commitment to nurturing talent and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

With over 18 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry across India, Maldives, and US, Balu John Maris brings extensive expertise in quality assurance, business excellence, learning & development, and guest experience. Prior to joining Conrad Bengaluru, he served as director of quality at W Goa, where he led quality assurance initiatives, business excellence programs, brand compliance, and guest satisfaction strategies aligned with global luxury hospitality standards.

Throughout the span of his career, Balu has held key positions with renowned hospitality brands including The Leela, The Lalit, Movenpick Hotels & Resorts, Royal Island Resort & Spa, Maldives, and W Goa. He has been instrumental in designing learning frameworks, developing training programmes, coaching teams, and fostering a culture of service excellence across luxury hotel operations.

In his new role at Conrad Bengaluru, Mr. Maris will lead the hotel’s learning and development initiatives, focusing on enhancing team capabilities, strengthening leadership development, driving employee engagement, and cultivating a culture of continuous learning that reflects Conrad’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.
