A new chapter has arrived at one of Dubai’s established city hotels with the launch of NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta. Following a significant phased transformation of the former Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, the 396-room property combines refreshed accommodation and public spaces with an expanded collection of dining, leisure and social experiences.
Located beside Ibn Battuta Mall and within easy reach of Dubai’s key business, leisure and entertainment destinations, NH Collection Dubai Ibn Battuta brings together contemporary stays, distinctive dining and facilities for both relaxation and connection, appealing to leisure, family, business and MICE travellers.
The launch marks the latest addition to NH Collection’s growing UAE portfolio, joining NH Collection Dubai The Palm, with further NH Collection openings planned in Ras Al Khaimah.

Stay, dine and unwind, The hotel’s 396 rooms and suites span Collection, Superior and Premium Rooms through to Junior, Family and Terrace Pool Suites. Selected two-bedroom configurations provide additional flexibility for families and longer stays, while Club Rooms and suites offer Executive Lounge access. The Terrace Pool Suites feature private outdoor spaces and temperature-controlled pools.
Food and drink are central to the hotel’s refreshed offering. Benihana brings its internationally recognised Japanese teppanyaki experience to the property, with chefs preparing dishes live at the table in a combination of culinary skill and theatrical performance.
New concepts Taste and Nomad offer further reasons to visit. Taste is a contemporary all-day dining destination inspired by culinary traditions from around the world, while Nomad is a relaxed café serving speciality coffee and wholesome bites in a setting designed to meet, work or recharge.
They join existing favourites including Skyline Pool Bar, McGettigan’s and Rodeo Drive, an American-inspired venue offering Tex-Mex flavours alongside live music and entertainment.
