A Limited-Edition Culinary Showcase with Visiting Chef Malith Gonaduwa from Shangri-La Colombo

Shangri-La Eros New Delhi presents Sri Lanka’s Signature Sensations at Tamra, welcoming award-winning Chef Malith Gonaduwa, Sous Chef at Shangri-La Colombo, for an exclusive culinary showcase from 10th to 19th July 2026.

For ten days, guests can experience the distinctive flavours of Sri Lanka through a menu curated by Chef Malith, available across lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. As part of the showcase, one of Tamra’s five interactive live kitchens will be dedicated to Sri Lankan cuisine, bringing the island’s culinary traditions to New Delhi through dishes prepared fresh throughout service.

Tamra, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi’s vibrant international cuisine restaurant, is designed for every dining occasion. Guided by its signature “World on Your Platter” philosophy, the restaurant brings together authentic South East Asian, Indian and European fare, complemented by Japanese and Continental specialties. Its interactive live kitchens form the heart of the dining experience, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy cuisines as they are prepared.

Award-winning Chef Malith Gonaduwa brings more than 30 years of culinary experience, shaped across luxury hotels, distinguished private clubs and internationally renowned cruise lines in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates, the Bahamas and the United States. Today, as Sous Chef at Shangri-La Colombo, he is recognized for his expertise in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine while also bringing experience across Continental, Mediterranean, Asian and Caribbean cuisines. His work has been recognized with Silver Medals at Culinary Art Competitions in Sri Lanka and Bronze Medals at international culinary competitions in Dubai, reflecting a career built on technical excellence and consistency.

Created exclusively for this showcase, Chef Malith’s menu brings together some of Sri Lanka’s most celebrated dishes, including Hoppers, clay pot curries and traditional sambals. Together, the menu offers a glimpse into the diversity of Sri Lankan cuisine, shaped by regional traditions, local ingredients and recipes that have been preserved across generations.

The Sri Lankan culinary marvel will be available as part of Tamra’s lunch buffet from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm and dinner buffet from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm. The lunch buffet is priced at INR 3,800 plus taxes per person and the dinner buffet is priced at INR 4,000 plus taxes per person.

Guests can also enjoy the experience during the restaurant’s Sunday Brunch, starting from INR 4,500 plus taxes.
