Citrus at The Leela Mumbai Brings Back Childhood Favourites with Gourmet Indian Street Food

For most Indians, street food is a memory before it is a meal; a paper plate held in both hands, a vendor who knew your order, the taste of a monsoon evening you never quite forgot. Mumbai knows this better than most, its lanes and corners made famous by the humble vada pav and the crowds that gather around it. On 11th, 18th and 25th October 2026, Citrus at The Leela Mumbai brings that feeling indoors with Indian Street Food, a gourmet celebration held over three Sundays.

The concept is a gourmet interpretation of beloved regional street food, told through live and interactive stations. Dishes are prepared in full view of the guest, which restores the theatre that makes the street so hard to resist.

The flavours stay true to memory; nostalgic, regional and unmistakably Indian. What changes is the setting, as these familiar favourites are presented with the finish of a premium dining room, without losing the spirit that made them loved.

Citrus is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM on each of the three Sundays, leaving guests free to arrive for a long lunch or settle in for the evening. The celebration is priced at INR 3,800++ per person for the non-alcoholic experience and INR 4,800++ per person for the alcoholic one.
